Will Stamper Makes Long-awaited First XI Debut

Homegrown talent Will Stamper has finally made his debut for the CCC Men's First XI.

Lachie Ross, longtime school friend and teammate, had the honour of presenting Stamper with his very own baggy blue.

"Stamps if you asked me two months ago that we'd be playing cricket together, I would've said yes... but I'm very glad it's here (at the Berries)," Rossy said.

"It has been a long-time coming, I think you'd be the first to admit that. But I don't think anyone here is more deserving than you."

"I know how much work you've put in, it's pretty unbelievable. Now that you've come back, you get to show everyone the passion that you have for the club."

"You love this Club, it's pretty awesome. And I think everyone at the Club loves you just as much, if not more. I have no doubt all your cricketing and personal qualities will be on full display while wearing this. Congratulations mate."
