Girls Cricket at

Canterbury Junior Cricket Club

Watch our girls cricket video here!

The Canterbury Junior Cricket Club is committed to having more girls involved in cricket. In 2015/2016 we fielded our first all girls team in the Anna Lanning Shield. In 2016/2017 we fielded two teams. In 2017/2018 we are aiming for three teams.

The Anna Lanning Shield is aimed at bridging the gap between MILO T20 Blast programs and women's Premier Cricket. The Anna Lanning Shield competition is played on Wednesday afternoons at various (but mostly local) venues.  It is played with a hard cricket ball and the rules are modified to ensure all girls are engaged in the game. The CCC squad trains once a week in addition to the games.

If you have an interested player who is 10-15 years old then please contact Suzette Hosken on 0435 358 162 or David Meagher on 0417 536 585 for further information.

If you are just starting out in cricket then you may also wish to consider playing Milo In2Cricket or Milo T20Blast.
